Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Cast Me In ("we", "us"). By uploading photos or buying a video, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Cast Me In.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

2. Whose photos you can upload

You may only upload photos:

• of yourself; or
• of another adult who has given you permission to use their photos to make this video.

Never upload photos of anyone under 18, of anyone who hasn't agreed, or of a public figure or celebrity unless you are that person. You're responsible for having these permissions, and we may ask you to show them.

3. How you can't use it

You agree not to use Cast Me In, or any video it makes, to:

• make sexual, nude or sexually suggestive content of anyone;
• harass, bully, threaten, humiliate or defame anyone;
• impersonate someone, or deceive people into thinking a video is real, for example in fraud, scams, fake endorsements, or political or news content;
• promote violence, hate, self-harm or illegal activity;
• remove or hide the fact that a video is AI-generated;
• break any law, or anyone else's rights, including privacy and publicity rights;
• overload, scrape, reverse engineer or get around the limits of the service.

We may refuse, remove or delete any video, and stop anyone from using Cast Me In, if we believe these terms were broken.

4. AI-generated videos

Every video is made by AI and is labeled as AI-generated. When you share one, don't present it as real footage. Results vary: the likeness, movement and details may not be accurate, and the AI models may refuse some photos or clips.

5. Your content and ours

• Your photos stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them, and to send them to our providers, only to make and deliver your video and as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Your video. You may download, keep and share your video for personal, non-commercial use, such as posting it on your own social media accounts.
• The trend clips, including their music, footage and the people in them, belong to their respective owners. We don't give you any rights in them, and you may not use videos commercially, for example in ads or paid promotions.
• The Cast Me In name, site and software are ours.

6. Prices, payment and refunds

• The price is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• If your video fails to generate, we refund you automatically. Refunds usually take 5–10 business days to reach your account.
• If you're not happy with a video, email support@example.com within 7 days of purchase with the link to it. We'll offer to remake it or refund you, at our discretion.
• Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under law.

7. Reporting a video

If a video uses your likeness without permission, or breaks these terms or the law, email support@example.com with its link. We'll review it promptly and remove it where appropriate. To report a copyright issue, include the work concerned and your contact details.

8. No warranties

Cast Me In is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular result, and we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for how anyone uses a video after it's made. Our total liability for any claim about Cast Me In is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Your responsibility

If someone brings a claim against us because of photos you uploaded or how you used a video in breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.

11. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes apply to videos made after they're posted. We may change, pause or stop Cast Me In at any time. If we stop it, we'll give reasonable notice so you can download your videos.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you live in a country whose consumer laws give you more protection, those laws still apply to you.
